Eligibility There shall be one type of membership open to all persons eighteen years of age and older who are in good standing with The American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the objectives of the Club. While membership is to be unrestricted as to residence, the Club's primary purpose is to be representative of the breeders and exhibitors in the greater Willamette Valley, Oregon. Dues Membership dues shall be $10.00 per year (individual) or $15.00 per year (couple) or $15.00 for two (2) years (individual membership only), payable on or before the 1st day of January of each year. During the month of November, the Treasurer shall notify each member, via the monthly newsletter, of his/her dues for the next year. Election to Membership Each applicant for membership shall apply on a form as approved by the Board of Directors. The application form shall provide, by his/her signature, that the applicant agrees to abide by the constitution and by-laws of EEBHF and the rules of The American Kennel Club. The application states applicant's name, address, and occupation and shall be endorsed by two (2) current members of EEBHF in good standing. The prospective member shall also submit dues payment for the current year. All applications shall be filed with the Secretary. Each application is to be read at the first meeting of the Club following its receipt. At the next Club meeting, the applicant will be voted upon and affirmative votes of 3/4 of the members present and voting at that meeting shall be required to elect the applicant to membership. Applicants for membership who have been rejected by the Club may not reapply within six (6) months after such rejection.
